Broome County Airport, NY 1957 - 1984

Founded as Broome County Aviation, Inc, and in 1960 adopted the name Commuter Airlines. In 1980 an agreement was reached with United Airlines to provide feeder service and the name changed along with the company structure to Freedom Airlines. When United terminated the agreement, about a year later, they continued to operate under the Freedom name until 1984 when the owner died and the assets were sold off.
